Obamanomics: Deficit Tripled in One Year

Sure, the democrats and Barack Obama blame Bush for the $1.4 Trillion deficit, but it wasn’t George Bush who signed the Porkulus or OmniPork spending bills. In fact, they waited to pass the pork laden budget until Bush was out of office because they knew he’d veto it. He also had no hand in Cash for Clunkers.

In other words, congressional democrats and Barack Obama own this deficit. They refuse to stop spending money, or even to cut back.

Fox News reports:

The federal budget deficit tripled to a record $1.4 trillion for the 2009 fiscal year that ended last week, congressional analysts said Wednesday.The Congressional Budget Office estimate, while expected, is bad news for the White House and its allies in Congress as they press ahead with health care overhaul legislation that could cost $900 billion over the next decade.
