Ouch! Chicago Eliminated by Olympic Committee

This is just embarrassing.

The charms of The One weren’t enough to convince the Olympic Committee to bring the Games to Chicago. Maybe he should have had Oprah speak instead.

At least he found 25 minutes to meet with General McChrystal aboard Air Force One before flying home. It’s too bad he didn’t spend more time with the General, and less time pitching his corrupt city to the corrupt Olympics committee.

If you follow the first link in the post you’ll find that it the pitch to bring the Olympics to Chicagoland cost a whopping $48 million, not to mention the cost of flying the Obama’s and their entourage over there. They sure love to spend, spend, spend!
