The kids are switching between the WWE and the Yankees game. We’ve always encouraged the kids to watch baseball but that may change, at least for next week. That’s when the MLB will participate in the White House/entertainment industry propaganda push, but the WWE isn’t on the list. As much as I object to the WWE, at least the kids aren’t being indoctrinated in Marxism so I’ll let it slide. Plus, I certainly don’t want them directed to a group that would just as soon have seen to it they were never born.
It’s funny the way the NFL turned on Rush Limbaugh. He’s wildly successful and is the most listened to radio personality in America. Sure, the left doesn’t like him so I suppose you can call him divisive. But there’s no love lost between the right (and more independents every day) and Barack Obama. So why are vocal Obama supporters allowed to own NFL teams? Jennifer Lopez with her racist song lyrics is co-owner of a team. Heck, even Fergie, who peed her pants while performing on stage is approved by the NFL. (Just wait until she’s had a couple kids. At least then she could borrow a Pull Up.) Not to mention that her anti-American lyrics could certainly be labeled as divisive. Unless you think all Americans regard the US military and the CIA as terrorist organizations.
Is anyone else sick and tired of listening to Dear Leader’s voice? Sheesh! He never shuts up and just doesn’t seem to understand the difference between governing and campaigning. Not that I mind his ineptitude at governing, at least on domestic issues. It may be the only thing that saves us from his plan to radically change the country he loathes. That and the idiots in his administration who never heard the old axion “choose your battles.” Would Glenn Beck have thought to zero in on Anita Dunn had she not shot off her mouth on television about Fox News?
Speaking of ineptitude, the democrats have outdone themselves with saving and creating jobs. Here in the Empire State half a billion bucks was spent in New York City and Long Island and created – get this – fifty four (yes 54, five-four) jobs. That’s a whopping NINE MILLION DOLLARS (yes, $9,000,000.00) per job! New York is known for wasteful spending, and nationally they’ve done a bit better - the average is about $72,000.00. But still, my husband created a job this year for about $10.00 – the cost of printing business cards. If the geniuses in Washington would stop trying to create jobs perhaps my hubby could hire a few more people.
It appears corporations and their lobbyists can also be classified as stupid and inept. In secret meetings earlier this year, with a wink and a nod, industry groups signed on with the Obama administration to spend millions selling ObummerCare. Obviously, the insurance industry is having second thoughts. What were they thinking? They slept with the devil and expected he’d still love them in the morning?
I have to thank the crazy family in Colorado. Hoax or not, there’s nothing like a missing boy, a flying saucer, and vomit on live TV to take our minds off the crazy events unfolding before our eyes in our nation’s capital.
