Wouldn’t you have liked to be a fly on the wall at the meeting between White House advisor David Axelrod and Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes? What’s the matter? Isn’t the adoration from MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, Comedy Central and NBC enough for Dear Leader?
For now, at least, Fox News has the upper hand. They do better at 3 AM than CNN does during prime time. Unless the Diversity Czar finds a way to shut them up I doubt the Chicago political machine will be able to put a muzzle on Fox News.
Politico reports:
The two met privately in Manhattan during the president’s visit to the United Nations.
The two discussed news coverage and the relationship between the organizations.
An FNC spokesperson tells POLITICO that Ailes and Axelrod had a “cordial conversation” over coffee while the president was in town.
Ailes is the founder of Fox News. A key part of Axelrod’s portfolio is the president’s image and broad message.
White House officials have expressed pique with what they consider heavy coverage of Obama critics by opinion shows on the news channel.
Obama aides showed their displeasure by omitting “Fox News Sunday” when the president granted interviews last month to the other Sunday shows. ….
Maybe if Obummer stopped hiring radicals Fox News could stop reporting about them. Just a suggestion.

Liberals have tried their own versions of talk radio and talk tv, but no one was interested, since it was just a constant repeat of NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS…etc.
We have the right to hear different opinions and the right to choose which opinions we want to hear the most. I watch MSM for comparison sake. Liberals are welcome to listen to Boortz and Rush (although I suggest you don’t call them …)and to watch Beck. Interesting to note Imus and Stossel moving our way…..
Also of interest, Van Jones is gone, ACORN is not funded and being investigated, Congress is calling for vetting of all Czars, CBO is scoring H/C, …. not because of talk radio or Fox tv, but because the “swatika-wearing” “astroturf” “unAmerican” “dining room tables” are demanding it in large numbers.
