Here’s the best of the web I’ve found this weekend. A big hat tip to Lew for a couple of the links.
Hey, who knew? Holocaust denier Ahmadinejad is part Jew. Do you think he knows that?
Wow, this is different. More libs are coming out to blame Bush for Obama’s failure to sell Chicago to the IOC. At my son’s baseball game today we were dodging goose poop and bees – can we blame that on Bush, too? It was annoying and having someone to blame would have been cathartic.
If you’re old, or happen to have elderly loved ones, you aren’t going to like this. ObummerCare will take from the elderly and give to AARP. Now that’s some change we can believe in. Oh yeah!
Jay Leno ripped David Letterman for screwing the help. Ouch!
If you’re in a bad mood, read about how Democrats in Virginia are going out of their way to make sure the men and women serving overseas can’t vote in the next election. If there’s one group of Americans who should never be deprived of a vote, it’s the military. It’s the Democrat Party that wants to deprive them of that vote. Remember that.
If you’re in a good mood and want a chuckle, head over to American Thinker for the top ten reasons Obama lost his Olympics bid.
Steve Moore spoke to Whole Foods CEO John Mackey about the boycott of Whole Foods, triggered by Mackey’s common sense op-ed in the Wall Street Journal a few months ago. Before Mackey grew up he was a big lib, then he had to make payroll. This is the most fascinating thing I’ve read all weekend.
It looks like young Americans have been voting against their own interests. I would suggest they learn the facts and vote accordingly. Hope and Change is just a slogan. Real work experience is priceless. Take your pick.
How did Sarah Palin buy her “in” with average Americans? Read about it here. She’s just like we are.
On that note I’m going to sign off. My son’s baseball team won their first playoff game today. So we have another game tomorrow afernoon. Between fall ball and a home improvement project we’re pretty busy around here.

Definitely read the Steve Moore/John Mackey if you haven’t.

It took me all day to read that yesterday. I started it before my son’s baseball game but had to leave half way through. I didn’t want to be late. I forgot to bring the paper with me so I had to wait to finish the article when I got home about 3 1/2 hours later! Well worth it though.

The Mackey interview is great on many levels. I’m amazed the left would slam someone that agrees with the majority of their positions and puts up an honest debate. Getting “skin in the game” like his HSA plan is the only way to truly reduce unnecessary cost.
