Worth A Read – Monday Morning Edition

Redistribution of the wealth to Americans doesn’t seem to be enough for this president. Is Obama planning to sign away national sovereignty for a new socialist world order? Of course he won’t bill it as such, he’ll do it under the guise of “saving the planet” from global warming.

If that doesn’t make you mad, I don’t know what will. Maybe this – the current federal budget deficit is a whopping $1.4 Trillion, almost triple what it was last year. (That means they’re spending $1.4 Trillion more than they  bring in.) So, what is Congress going to do about it? Increase spending, of course, by a whopping 12%! That’s not counting mandatory spending like Medicare and Social Security.

Leaders from the Chamber of Commerce and America’s Health Insurance Plans spent the weekend pushing back against Obama’s campaign against them. Who knows, by tomorrow the White House will probably have a new enemy to focus on.

It’s a new week and Obama has a new radical judicial nominee. This time it’s Edward Chen, nominated to the Northern California district court. Hint: he’s not a big fan of the United States of America.

Now some good news to start your week. Finally, Congress will subpoena the records from Countrywide’s “Friends of Angelo” program. This is imporatnt, because as The Wall Street Journal put it:

”As the largest subprime lender and valued partner of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Countrywide was at the core of the mortgage meltdown. The political class wants to blame the mania and panic on the bankers, but the bankers couldn’t have made the subprime lending mess without plenty of political help from Congress. To ensure that this disaster is never repeated, it is critical that Congress uncovers the facts about the extraordinary efforts by Countrywide and Fannie and Freddie to influence federal housing policy.”

Happy Monday! Don’t work too hard or Uncle Sam might dig even deeper into your pockets! ;)

How much faith can we have in this congress investigating this fraud, kmowing that some top dogs in the congress, and their cronies were the beneficiaries of the dishonesty? Anyone see anything happening to Chas. Rangel?
