Sorry I haven’t posted much today. I enjoyed a rare lazy Saturday morning. I was in my pajamas until noon. It was great. I sat at the kitchen island and read the local paper (that only took a few minutes) and The Wall Street Journal. As usual, the Journal’s op-ed pages were full of good stuff. I spent the rest of the day doing routine chores, and this evening my husband I have been doing some much-dreaded painting. Hopefully our home improvement project will be done soon so I can get our home back in order.
Rush Limbaugh: The Race Card, Football and Me: Rush wrote an op-ed which appeared in the Journal this weekend. The NFL deal isn’t so much about Rush as it is about how the left will destroy anyone who dares to disagree with them.
James Taranto: Taking on the Democrat Media Complex: Mr. Taranto interviewed Andrew Breitbart about the Acorn scandal and Breitbart’s unconvential and successful campaign against the main stream media.
Stephen T. Parente and Tarron Bragdon: Why Health Care is So Expensive in New York – We can thank Mario Cuomo and BCBS for that. This just makes me mad. I have a few self-employed friends who pay through the nose for really bad health insurance policies. It’s insane – they’ve destroyed the market for individual health policies in New York, and the yahoos in Washington want to impose this on the rest of you.
Kelly O’Connell (American Thinker): If Obama were a Marxist what would he believe? – A little history lesson. This one is long but definitely worth a read.
Jim Hoft (Gateway Pundit): Disaster of the Day – Charting the Obama Destruction: Read the Kelly O’Connell article first to understand why this is so significant.
That’s all I have time for tonight. We have a lot of clean up left to do here in our cozy little nest.
