Careful, LC, or you’ll end up vilified like Senator Joe McCarthy (who, reminder reminder reminder, was not wrong). If you catch any of the b films from the 30s and 40s, it is easy to see why Hollywood was hauled in front of HUAC. And it was very effective, at the time, to start changing attitudes toward The Great Collective Expermient. And I refuse to grant the Hollywood 10+ the benign title of “misinformed idealists”. They knew what they were doing. And all of that THEN helped get us here NOW. Excellent post, I’ll be sharing.

Two things need to happen before Socialism or Communism can change the U.S. forever: the abandonment of nationalism and the abandonment of the Christian faith. It seems to me that those two things are alive and well right now. European countries have already succumbed on both counts. Perhaps it is true that America (the U.S.) is the world’s last best hope.

I pray every day for a revival in the U.S. and around the world, for ordinary people to do extraordinary things, and for there to be a great awakening so that those who voted for Obama will see the harm he is doing to America.
