2 Responses to Charles Krauthamer: Giving KSM American Rights ‘Unconscionable’

I still can’t grasp why Liberals believe that if we apply just and harsh punishment to terrorists we are somehow “not above them” and that giving them Constitutional rights and all the warm fuzzies makes us “better than they are”.
It goes without saying we are above them, better than they are. Why were so many people so shocked on Sept. 11 2001? Mostly because we, as a people, cannot fathom doing that to innocent citizens of another country even WITH declaration of war and all of the other “honorable” rules of warfare. We can’t imagine doing what they did, and for the reasons they did, and that speaks to our values as a people. A people, I will point out, who by our very nature are every color, religion, and caste of the world.
There is no “honor” in trying these men this way. We are as foolish and naive and childish as Radical Islam believes we are. We risk losing this war in order to make sure that the world believes we are “better than the terrorists”, instead of understanding that there was never any conflicted question there.
These should have been quick trials followed by quick deaths.

I agree with you Liberty, but I look at this as the exposure of the left’s ultimate guilt complex for the underdog, to the point of suicide driven by their arrogance, elitism, and need to control without capacity. There will never be a terrorist attack on this country because in the leftist mind, there is no such person or act. These acts are considered their way of “getting back” at us, or as some on the left have said in the past, “our comeupins”. Leftist liberalism is a mental disorder that is strengthened by the absence of confrontation with and education of emotional facts and factual history. These two items are what our children have been forbidden from and misrepresented to, in the public school system of the recent. The transfer of guilt and shame of our country to our young by disgruntled counter culture anti capitalists posing in education as teachers and professorial types is the biggest lie and crime of the century. It will not change until we replace these cultivators of our youth’s minds, for this is the essence of our failure to our founders. Demanding accountability in our school and university curriculums is a start. I propose the inclusion of background checks on educators, staffers and administrators at all levels. They would be transparent and they must keep the check up to date on open public databases. Falsification or elimination shall trigger prosecution that will levy heavy fines and or incarceration. This is the only method that can be a check and balance of tenure and subversive agendas by the very people that we entrust to in part “build” our most precious people. Let the local people set the standards. Let the people decide where and what they will patronize. The populous is now required to comply with proof to privilege and right. Is it not too much to ask to add to the license of education the proof of who one has been, associates and is? Not to limit or restrict, but to openly view and personally decide. Let’s have the discussion. Clarity is so refreshing.
