Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) spoke to Glenn Beck and told him that passing the health care bill will destroy the economy. He said he believes Harry Reid will have the votes to pass the bill, and probably won’t even need to use the nuclear option. He also said Senator Joe Lieberman is being a bit disingenuous when he talks about opposing this legislation. He also said he believes we’re coming to a tipping point in America.
Glenn Beck asked about when the new taxes will start, DeMint replied that the new taxes will start next year, even though the “benefits” don’t begin for four years.
It’s NOT about Healthcare.
It’s about power. Absolute power.
A wrecked economy only makes it that much easier to gain this power and curtail our freedoms.
I’m angered but undaunted as the second ammendment exists for a purpose.
