It gives a chance to excoriate the Bush administration and the CIA. #2. The trials will play out over a long period of time. This will allow Obama and the Democrats cover for accomplishing their agenda. Remember when things got hot for President Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal? What would he do? Bomb the Serbians or create other distractions abroad. The American people cannot allow themselves to be distracted from the plight of the healthcare debacle soon to be debated in the Senate.
