I was watching these videos posted at Breitbart TV and just felt sad. Not that the Berlin Wall fell – what a great day for humanity – just sad that so many of our fellow Americans failed to learn the lesson of that day. Sad that the leftists in America have been biding their time, and now their time has come.
How ironic, to be celebrating the anniversary of such a great moment for freedom on the other side of the ocean, while our freedom here at home is under assault.
In the second video of the playlist the narrator said (I’m paraphrasing) that socialism cannot exist in an open society. Socialism cannot exist in a society where people are free to leave, it can only exist in a closed society. Think about that. The only way for socialism to exist is for there to be nowhere for the people to go. Now think about why President Obama is looking for a new world order.
I pray every day I’m wrong about President Obama and the politicians controlling Washington DC. But I have seen no evidence to convince me I’m wrong. They talk about freedom while borrowing trillions from China. They talk about freedom while saddling our children with debt they’ll never be able to repay. They talk about freedom while enslaving us to each other.
Speaking of Obama, he graced the Germans with a surprise video message. I didn’t have the stomach to watch it, but Allahpundit did. He points out how Obama failed to mention Ronald Reagan, or even the Soviet Union. He did somehow find a way to make it all about himself, though. Why am I not surprised?
