Remember when John McCain said the fundamentals of our economy are strong, and Barack Obama openly mocked him. Now that the unemployment rate is effectively 17% Obama’s saying the same thing. Oh, except that he and his team saved the economy. (No mention that one in four homeowners are under water on their mortgages.)

I read somewhere one of the examples he used as an economic strength are the universities. That’s what he sees – universities creating jobs. Not the private business sector. Any strengths in the private sector that remain he’s going to destroy.
