4 Responses to Rep. Roskam: If PelosiCare is so great why criminalize opting out?

Good question Kamraden.
I’m older and have been responsible. My healthcare is part of my efforts as a productive citizen.
I am not an “undocumented immigrant” I am not young and spend my money on other things. I don’t have a catastrophic illness and expect others to pay whole or in part for my medical care. I am not a dolt who can read the Constitution and find healthcare (or education) in the text.
It will be fun to see the marketing campaign if all this comes to pass. “ObamaCare: Taking freedom away, one citizen at a time.”

If the American public were really getting the information on what’s buried in this bill from the media outlets fulfilling their constitutional role as watchdogs for the people, most would be outraged if not in full revolt. The MSM as we all know are in lockstep with administration and Democrat goals and policies. Most of us are in the same camp as “Sam Adams”, unfortunately there are too many “takers” that want something for nothing, being lead by controlling politicos to slaughter. Again, I really don’t understand someone who thinks that they will have control of people that have the political and legislative power to control them. Diluted I guess.

The REAL issue:
POWER.
To actually lower cost we must lower the cost of HEALTHCARE. The insurance angle is smoke and mirrors.
Why Healthcare is so expensive: 1. Lawyers: Frivilous lawsuits and outragious judgements drive malpractise insure sky high
2. Third party payers: Yes the very insurance supposed needing reform is the cause. If you paid for it yourself the cost would go down.
3. Freeloaders: Too many feel healthcare should be free or partially paid for by a third party.
HELLO! McFly! Healthcare (and Education) are NOT in the Constitution. Government involvement in BOTH is the ruination of our country.
