The Good, the Bad, the Ugly, the Clueless
ByThe Good: Gold hit a record high.
The Bad: The real unemployment rate is somewhere around 17%.
The Ugly: The reason gold is so high is the dollar’s slump continues. And don’t expect it to get any better, because payments on our national debt will soon be about one TARP a year. Yes, that’s $700 billion a year on interest alone! But that’s not stopping Dear Leader and his minions in Congress from trying to ram through massively expensive legislation.
The Clueless: The Hollywood celebrities invited to Dear Leader’s first State Dinner as thanks for helping him accomplish all of the above. While it would be nice to believe Obama was simply clueless, he knows exactly what he’s doing.

You are so right. Obama knows what he is doing. There is nothing clueless about the man, except for his arrogant ego.
Simpson’s article that you linked to, I hope everyone reads it.
He is right on track and with the “intellectual” how to by concerns such as the Tides Foundation and SEIU muscle, this is the way he will fulfill his fundamental transformation promise. When he said that, it reminded me of an old Twilight Zone show called “To Serve Man”.
