Why don’t Obama and Holder just paint a big bullseye on New York City? This is insanity – they’re granting these terrorist thugs the protection of the US justice system. They’re giving these thugs a platform to spew their hate. They’re putting our security at risk by allowing a trial at which national security secrets could be discoverable.

WASHINGTON — Calling this the toughest decision he has made as attorney general, Eric Holder announced Friday that self-proclaimed Sept. 11 attack architect Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay detainees will be moved to New York to face trial in a civilian federal court.
“The Department of Justice will pursue prosecution in federal court of the five individuals accused of conspiring to commit the 9/11 attacks. Further, I have decided to refer back to the Department of Defense five defendants to face military commission trials, including the detainee who was previously charged in the USS Cole bombing,” Holder said at a Justice Department briefing.
Holder, America’s top law enforcement officer, said he is instructing attorneys in the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of Virginia handling the case to pursue the death penalty for the five. He said he has seen evidence that is not yet public that gives him confidence that “our outcome will be successful.”
“For over 200 years our nation has relied on a faithful adherence to the rule of law to bring criminals to justice and to provide accountability to victims. Once again we will ask our legal system in two venues to rise to that challenge. I am confident that it will answer the call with fairness and with justice,” Holder added.
I have a couple of questions for Holder and Obama. 1- What are they going to do if these guys get off on technicalities? 2- Why try others in military tribunals, while trying these five enemy combatants in our civilian courts?
The families of the 9/11 victims are outraged. Debra Burlingame, whose brother was the pilot of American Airlines flight 77, called in to Fox News this morning. She called this decision a travesty and said this is a dark day for America. She made some excellent points about why these terrorists shouldn’t be tried in our civil courts. My heart goes out to these families who are being victimized all over again.

I don’t believe they’ll get a decent conviction in a civil court, if any at all. There is so much that you just can’t present as evidence. The Administration has to know that. They can’t REALLY be so stupid, they have managed to cross the street in front of Secret Service vehicles without getting creamed.
I think our government officials should be forced to look at those never-released photos of the bodily carnage on the streets, and a few beheading videos with the sound on, and then look the families in the face and spout off about truth, justice, and the American way. I was born in the West. We hang ‘em high when the evidence is plain. And that’s just for stealing a HORSE.

NO NO NO this is a great idea they will have to put military police in city. When the fit hits the shan 1st brigade CCMURF will come in to save the day. How could we pass more restrictive laws more taxes more money to the Saudi’s now China. We need martial law. Who well quell the populis they will, they will do it to them selves.
