Senator Lindsey Graham tells Attorney General Eric Holder that he’s made a fundamental mistake and is making bad history. Holder’s answers are pretty muddled, he seemed to be saying we have so much evidence againt Bin Laden that we’d get a conviction. Which I guess would mean he’d try Bin Laden in criminal court, rather than a military tribunal.
Andy McCarthy posted a list of Holder’s biggest whoppers this morning.
I’m NOT fooled.
This trial is all abut putting the Bush administration and the Intelligence Community on trial.
Of course secrecy, coercion by gov’t and “dirty tricks” are OK when it’s their side that’s doing it.
