Guess who hates capitalism now? Jim Carey – the first guy to make $20 million for standing around making faces and sounds before a camera – that’s who. Poor baby. Mark Steyn wonders why he didn’t remain in Canada, where his industry is highly regulated. I say all capitalists in America should remember his comments and vote with their wallets. Just say “Bah, Humbug” to A Christmas Carol.
The New York Times committed the mortal sin of reporting criticism of ObamaCare. The Grey Lady’s now on the receiving end of the Fox News treatment by the White House. Heh.
Obama and his Kool Aid drinking followers will stop at nothing to pass his agneda. The campaign arm of the White House, Organizing for America, is operating in every congressional district in the US. They’re rasing lots of money, too. Do you think Tea Partiers and 9/12′ers can give ‘em a run for their money? I do.
Dede breaks her silence! CNN interviewed Dede Scozzafava. They called it an exclusive, but I’ve seen her on local news – I think it was last night. She was talking about the NY budget or something. I don’t know – I turned it off. I also stopped the video of the CNN interview about half way through. It’s exactly what you’d expect. Allahpundit’s take on it is pretty good. Read that, but don’t bother watching the video.

In AP news on August 4, 2009, it was reported that Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez (his minions) shut down 34 broadcasters by revoking some licenses and refusing to renew others. CNB was one of those stations. “CNB took a relatively balanced approach by interviewing pro-Chavez lawmakers while also having opposition politicians among its talk show hosts.”

Harry Reid is doing the same thing to the Review-Journal here in Las Vegas; I saw the NV Democrat Party email that went ’round the state yesterday. They’ve employed an “outside” party (NV for ProgressNow or something)to attack our more conservative newspaper; oddly enough, they are not concerned with monitoring the liberal Las Vegas Sun.
This comes after Clean Face Harry tried to bully the newspaper and the paper called him out on it quite loudly. We’ll see, I suppose, how much individual journalists and editors treasure their freedom of the press—if you dissent and have a pen, you are “Fox News”. Das vadanya.
