When is it okay to jump to conlcusions?

If you’re Barack Obama, when you choose to side with a black professor over a law enforcement officer, before knowing all the facts, jumping to conclusions is fine. When a major in the military turns his gun (in a gun free zone) on his brothers in arms, after reportedly yelling “Allahu Akbar,” we’re supposed to suspend rational thought and allow the media to make excuses for the heinous act.

If this is the case – and there’s no evidence to believe otherwise – we’re in much more trouble than any of us imagined.

As soon as I heard about this yesterday, my first thought was it was going to be a Muslim man and the media and so many others would immediately start blaming everyone but him.
