Via Gateway Pundit, Charles Krauthammer appeared on Special Report tonight and blasted Obama’s meaningless words regarding Iran’s freedom protesters.
“The regime is weakening. This is a hinge in history. Everything in the region with change if the regime is changed. Obama ought to be strong out there in saying it’s an illegitimate government; we stand shoulder to shoulder with the people in the street. When he talks about diplomacy he should be urging our Western allies to that have relations to cut them off. He ought to be going into the UN every forum denouncing it. This is a moment in history, and he’s missing it.“
Atlas Shrugs has been following the situation in Iran closely. It’s brutal, and Obama’s reaction is shameful. Something else to keep in mind: what we’re witnessing in Iran is what happens when people are denied freedom. How much more freedom can we cede to our government before we start seeing those scenes playing out here at home?

Charles is great, but tonight I thought, was a journey into self indulgence preached to the choir and he knew it. There is no way that Obama will exert any pressure on Iran. When he took office, he stopped our missile defense system, but has allowed several sales of smart and bunker buster bombs to Israel. He will let Israel be the “bad guy” and then step in as the great (Nobel) diplomat / mediator to defuse the situation. Obama believes everything should be equal in weaponry and wealth, so he won’t step in to stop the mad men in Iran. I’m hoping he allows Israel to use Iraqi airspace if they need to. Nice try Charles but Obama’s relativism has not yet allowed him to come to grips with an enemy that believes death is a win.

Obama and his ilk have NO CAJONES.
Add to this Big Ears’ tendency to say whatever is expedient at the moment and we have a Presidency that projects weakness to the world.
