Nancy Pelosi: Yeah, Wall Street tax is a great idea

By

While President Obama was hosting a “jobs summit”, Nancy Pelosi was concocting ways to meet the socialist fundraising needs of Congress.

Reuters reported:

A proposed tax on financial transactions “has a great deal of merit” and would help Congress raise needed revenue, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Thursday.“I believe that the transaction tax still has a great deal of merit,” Pelosi said at a news conference.

The tax would have a “really minimal impact on the transaction, but a tremendous impact on helping us meet our needs,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi has previously said the tax would have to be imposed internationally to keep Wall Street business from going overseas. Backers of the tax say they have crafted their bills to ensure that businesses would not migrate overseas.

Democrats in the House are considering the tax as a way to pay for new construction projects and other measures aimed at bringing down the country’s 10.2 percent unemployment rate. ….

Helping us meet our needs!?!?” At least one statement she uttered was honest. We know they need lots of money, our money, to meet their needs. But they certainly won’t be meeting our needs!

This is NOT how jobs are created. This is how capital is destroyed, which is what the democrats are after. If they wanted to see new construction projects and bring down unemployment, they would stop everything they’re doing and let the economy take care of itself. These people are un-freaking-believable!

Calm down LC. Don’t let them get under your skin. It’s all in their plan; they know exactly the moves that are needed to demonize, break down and replace capitalism. The President’s phony “job summit” was an opportunity to scold private enterprise for placing profit before people and that’s how he summarized why businesses aren’t hiring. He and his ilk will use any topic to demonize private sector anything through guilt. I for one am immune. It is very important to let people know of their plan. This is deliberate and methodical, with one end; political control of the populous through any and all means, whether that is your health, your employment, your security, personal behavior, opinion and thought.
