Senator Tom Coburn: No is a wonderful word

Via Michelle Malkin, via memeorandum, Senator Tom Coburn vehemently defended the “party of no.”

“We’re accused of being the party of no,” he said. But “no is a wonderful word. When your child is misbehaving, you say no. When someone’s stealing liberty, you say no…Saying no at the right time saves lives. Saying no at the right time saves money…Saying no at the right time saves liberty.”

I can’t tell you how many approving glances I receive from older Americans when I tell my children “no” while shopping. I wonder how many approving glances the GOP is receiving for saying no to this boondoggle.

Keep saying “no” Senator Coburn. Do whatever you have to do to stop this.
