Among the sponsors is Eastman Kodak and the Ford Foundation. So is the American Federation of Teachers and PepsiCo. When contacted for a reaction to the recent revelations about GLSEN’s sexualiztion of children, Eastman Kodak responded that they are proud to support such an organization.
Check out the full list, then vote with your wallet. I own a Ford. I was going to trade it in next summer. I will not purchase another Ford as long as their foundation continues to contribute to groups such as GLSEN. My son asked for a camera for Christmas. Although we already have a Kodak Easy Share docking/printing station, I won’t be purchasing a Kodak. Enough is enough.
DEBATE WITHOUT ANGER
We were told never to talk politics or religion, as someone’s going to get angry and throw a punch. It is safer to avoid conflict. Here is another way. Never make a statement of fact. Instead, ask a question so the opponent feels respected, and then listen. They must give predictable answers, putting their position so far out on a limb it falls by its own weight. The only way to do this, however, is to know what you are talking about, what you believe, what to ask and predict. To argue with an elitist who believes life only works when the government designs it, or the elitists few who want to rule the non-elite many, find the roots. If you go toe-to-toe with a know-it-all, without knowing your stuff, you will be embarrassed or trade blows. Know the roots of every argument. Understand what conservatives, libertarians and Marxists believe. It is easier than you think, because the root differences are simple. Kodak is on the ropes and had to recently borrow 700 million dollars. As a company they are in a descending spiral. I’m surprised that they would like to take on controversy companywide at a tenuous time; but what the heck, they’re of the same mindset as the Democrat controlled congress,”Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!” Here’s the rest of the list. I USED to be a Pepsi drinker and I won’t be buying any more Cisco routers, and surprise, surprise, the National Education Association and American Federation of Teachers are supporters! Shocker!
