Shortly before the democrats voted for Harry Reid’s health care bill this morning, Michelle Malkin was on Fox and Friends to talk about the democrats’ culture of corruption. She believes that thanks to the thug tactics used in ramming through ObamaCare the democrats are now at a tipping point. Rep. Bart Stupak said the Senate bill won’t pass the House as is. We’ll have to see about that. It’s obvious the democrats and Barack Obama will stop at nothing to have their way.
I’ve read that the Republicans are working on some vulnerable House democrats, trying to get them to dump their party. I don’t know if that’s the answer. Will we just get more RINOs in the GOP? Who knows, maybe a miracle will happen and a bunch of democrats will have some sort of epiphany over Christmas. I won’t hold my breath, but we can always pray.
As expected, the bill passed the Senate this morning on a party line vote. The bill is so bad, even the Senators from Maine couldn’t find the will to hold their noses and vote for it. One small consolation, since it’s Christmas they all went home so we don’t have to see the democrats’ ugly gloating mugs on television for a while.
