I’m not New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s biggest fan. But, when he’s right he’s right.
While ripping Obama and Congress for their war on the financial industry, Bloomberg made an excellent suggestion.
CBS2: “Maybe we should hold back their salaries for a decade or so and see whether the laws they pass work out,” Bloomberg said.
“They” being the politicians in Washington, DC.
I say “Hear! Hear!”
There should some type of penalty/reward based on actual performance.
A recruiter for the USMC does not get credit for an enlistment if someone they sign up gets discharged before they complete Boot.
If it’s good enough for the Corps, then it’s good enough for the ruling elite politicos.
Disclaimer: IMO only a handful (or less) of those jerks in D.C. can hold a candle to a grunt.

It’s funny how libs sing a different tune when it’s their ox being gored. It reminds me of their inane defense on the definition of torture, and what measures they would go to and call for if imminent death was in store for themselves or their loved ones. I hope they are never put in that position, but they can’t or won’t outwardly admit the reality of the reaction they would have because it would mean that conservatives are correct and win the argument.
