Obama’s home town is losing that hope and change feeling. They know that thanks to Obama things are getting worse, not better. It’s looking more and more like Illinois could become the next state to turn red. Gubernatorial candidate Adam Andrzejewski is surging in the polls. Maybe the endorsement of Lech Walesa helped, or maybe it was Walesa’s warning that America is slipping into socialism.
If Andrzejewski wins the governorship, and Obama’s senate seat is lost to a republican, how will Obama explain it? Will he blame it on Bush? I gotta say, I can’t wait to find out.

Correct me if I’m mistaken, but isn’t the current Gov of Illinois (Pat Quinn) an unelected hack long the lines of Paterson?
He and Dick Durbin (who compared our GI’s to Khmer Rouge or NKVD thugs) were lobbying HARD for that prison to house Gitmo detainees to be opened up in the NW corner of the state….

This will expand State government.
More union members to pay dues and vote themselves pay raises.
