In case you missed it last night, The Weekly Standard’s John McCormack was roughed up by some goon when he tried to get Martha Coakley to answer a question.
It looks like McCormack has identified his attacker – a Coakley staffer named Michael Meehan, on loan from (of all places) the DSCC. (Where do they find their people – the SEIU?)
See the photos for yourself. Looks like the same guy to me. I hope McCormack presses charges.
On a related note, NRO had a spy at the Coakley fundraiser. It sounds like she whipped up the crowd when she told them “If I don’t win, 2010 is going to be hell for Democrats . . . Every Democrat will have a competitive race.”
I think 2010 will be hell for Democrats no matter what happens to Coakley.
Find out what others are saying at memeorandum
Update: Meehan not only works for the DSCC, he’s also an Obama appointee. Figures.

The left just can’t tolerate dissent. It always results in them escalating to the point of physical thuggery or worse. The inability of self control and civility when in disagreement is a common denominator with Democrats, sometimes leading to others imposing “timeouts” for them; usually called “jail”. http://www.linkedin.com/in/meehan

The manner in which Coakley “Whipped up the crowd”
shows they are on Defense.
“Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead!”
