I’m sorry folks, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to get to every story, let alone do a separate blog post on every one. So here’s some of what I didn’t get to today.
Some Arab youths in Michigan decided to print up 9/11 sweatshirts that raised eyebrows, to say the least. While I’m not one for censorship, I do believe someone should keep an eye on these youngsters. And maybe add them to one of those lists the TSA never bothers to check.
House GOP whip Eric Cantor thinks he may have 37 democrats that will flip on ObamaCare. All I can say on that is I wish him luck.
Speaking of massive entitlements, it’s mind boggling to know that anyone in a position of power would even consider expanding entitlements when we can’t keep up with the entitlements already in place. Check out this graph if you need a visual aid.
Wonders never cease, Thomas Friedman had a moment of clarity when it comes to radical jihad. Perhaps there’s hope yet. Or maybe not. CNS reported that DHS only plans to catch 26% of the major criminals entering the US. Hope is so shortlived these days, is it not? But at least US border officials learned about the underpants bomber while he was trying to blow up his underpants mid-flight. That’s got to count for something, right? (Last link via memeorandum.)
The One who promised not to raise taxes on the middle class has sent a message to the House that he’s on board with taxing health insurance plans. I wonder what he promised Andy Stern to be allowed to make such an assertion.
I haven’t heard too much from the global warming alarmists in the past hour or two. Maybe that’s because most of the country is in the midst of a deep freeze and, well, they’d just look foolish.
On a positive note, the democrats are way down in the polls. One thing I can say about Republicans, at least it took them a few years to turn the people against them. The democrats found a way to so in a few months.
Don’t worry about a thing, though. AlGore’s looking out for all of us.

By the way, Susan Collins voted to let confirmation go forward, but would keep options open to confirm him. Now that we learned that he lied to Congress, she decided to vote in his favor. How would she vote if he DIDN”T lie to Congress? Did anyone ever make a test to see if there is any kind of a brain between her ears? And they ask why conservatives are unhappy with the GOP.
