The other day I wondered why the British didn’t inform the US about the Nigerian underwear bomber.
Now, the British say they did inform us. Why hasn’t the White House rapid response team put out a blog post blaming Bush?
Hmmmm.

LC, as soon as I read the first of the Telegraph’s articles yesterday about Great Britain having informed the U.S. in October 2008, I thought immediately that the date would be a really good way for Obama to blame Bush. But it just came to me that info was not called upon to be used during the Bush administration. Obama’s priority is not national security, so he has not pushed to make sure our intelligence community is operating as it should per the 9/11 Commission Report. In fact, he has denigrated the intelligence community. This British piece of information still leaves Obama on watch when the Detroit flight problems occurred, as far as I’m concerned. But, I, too, thought of the Bush explanation…..and it may come out that way yet.

I couldn’t agree more. And he’s still blaming Bush for other things – just not this one in particular – yet.
