Wow, he’s got a lot of nerve. After the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts you’d think he got the message that the voters want him and his party to change course. Talk about tone deaf!
Washington Post: President Obama will address his Republican opponents directly in his State of the Union address Wednesday night, a senior administration official said, as he seeks to generate new momentum and rebuild his credibility as a leader able to change the way Washington works.
Obama will ask Republicans to “change course” and “work together to face the big challenges,” the official said, adding that the president’s tone will not be markedly different than it has been in the past.
Obama will also acknowledge “mistakes” he made during his first year in office, aides said. …
I just got off the phone with a couple of Obama’s “Republican opponents” and I can tell you, they don’t believe they need to change course. Quite the opposite, in fact. (More on that shortly.) Something tells me those mistakes Obama will acknowledge aren’t the same mistakes I heard about for the past 45 minutes.

Obama will not change one iota of his agenda. He will govern as a Marxist, progressive ideologue, having no reservations in getting to his end by any and all means. By next year I foresee many more Americans will be suffering much more than now unfortunately; so next years’ SOTU speech should be met with a Republican response strongly urging the President to dramatically change course or resign. Calling for his resignation next year after a somewhat muted build up, can catch like wild fire.
