I’d be more inclined to believe this if Obama weren’t in permanent campaign mode.
ABC News: President Obama, buffeted by criticism of his massive health care reform bill and election setbacks, said today he remained determined to tackle health care and other big problems despite the political dangers to his presidency.
“I’d rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president,” he told ABC’s “World News” anchor Diane Sawyer in an exclusive interview today. ….
Hmmm, what political dangers could he be talking about?

I am on board and totally cool with a one term B.O.! Heck, if he even wants to cut this term short by resigning, I’m all for it!

I’ll second that! But then wouldn’t we be stuck with the village idiot? Maybe that would be better – certainly couldn’t be worse.

You would have oh, so much more material for your blog! The next Christmas’ most popular toy would be a robot called “robojoe gaffe-o-tron”.

I’m cool with him being a one-term, lame-duck president barely a year into his administration.

President Obama’s presidency is teetering on the brink of collapse. If Barack Obama doesn’t pull back the reins of big government it is very conceivable Barack Obama will be a one-term president.

On the O’Reilly Factor tonight, when asked about these Obama words, Brit Hume suggested Obama may turn out to be neither! I enjoyed that comment immensely.
