The New York Times reported that Sarah Palin has signed a deal with Fox News to become a regular contributor.
The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called “War Stories.” …
This is probably a smart move on Palin’s part. If she does intend to pursue higher office in the future, this would be a good way for her to demonstrate that she’s on top of things and become a bit more media-savvy. The report says she signed a multi-year deal, so I would assume that rules our a run in 2012, but who knows.

Good for her! Glad to see it. And, yes, I want her to remain a private citizen
But, I really do like her.

I like Sarah a lot.
Having said that, I’m not sure she’ll be successful in another run for office.
** She has more experience than Obama and more balls than “O’Biden.” Heh heh **
IMO she will excel in putting a face to what us “Average” Americans want from our government.

Depending on the format, I’m hoping that this doesn’t cheapen her politically in any way. She has a strong message that resonates with Americans. If she doesn’t run for office, perhaps the next conservative administration will find a place for her such as a Secretary of Energy so she can hone her message and facilitate a candidacy. She’s a young woman and has plenty of time with the potential to do big things.

Awesome. I think she’ll make a great contributor. Sometimes I think these TV/Radio talkers have more power than some of our politicians. The power to influence that is. I’ll be watching.

Good move, good fit. The other networks are liberal, and only Fox is actually objective and neutral.
