Senator Dorgan to Retire – Won’t Seek Re-Election in 2010

Any news of a democrat retiring is good news. Too bad he isn’t putting in his two-weeks notice.

Fox News: North Dakota Democrat Byron Dorgan says he will not seek re-election to the Senate in 2010, a surprise announcement that could give Republicans an opportunity to pick up a seat from the Republican-leaning state.

They call Dorgan a moderate, but since Harry Reid was able to beg, borrow and steal to ram health care through the Senate, we all know there’s not one single moderate democrat in the US Senate. Don’t fool yourself.
