Update: This was such a great line, I thought I’d bump it back to the top of the page for anyone who missed it.

This is great! Go Scott Brown!

Brown also hit the one million dollar mark in his one day moneybomb fundraising campaign!

Like correcting a dog, the liberal mindset from Gergen’s mouth presupposes that it belongs to Democrats, aptly recognized and responded to by Mr. Brown. Bravo!

Just posted this to my blog, too, and to my Facebook page. Should have known you’d already have it up :) The line from Brown was THE best!! It’s amazing how many of us around the country were glued to the debate.

I think I want to give him babies…I AM SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT! Teddy thought it belonged to him, too. Time it was given back to the state.

Let’s hope that line meant as much to the voters as it did to us onlookers. Here in NY, it’s any democrat’s seat. Doesn’t even matter where they’re from. As long as there’s a D after the name….

You’ll have to excuse them- it’s ingrained that this is Ted Kennedy’s seat and nobody else’s.

I watched Scott Brown on Greta last night. He was a nice likeable fellah who had high praise for Kennedy and even kept saying that Coakley is a nice person but is wrong on the issues.

Of course lets not forget he is basically a RINO. When you really look at his positions on many things he turns out to be a left of center Republican which probably makes him an opportunist, say anything politician.

But hey, whose not in DC?

Being for the health care plan of MA is not the same thing as being for a national health care plan. The states can do whatever they like if that’s what the citizens want. The federal government can’t. I’d say he’s right of center, and if he gets elected it would be quite amazing in Massachusetts.

Scott Brown is the hunk quarterback from the Big Ten (sorry east coasters) and the Kennedy “boys” played football on the lawn on thanksgiving (for show). I’m a political refugee now living in Virginia–had to leave my country of birth in 2007–Chicago–after the corruption and leadership disintegration caused the economic collapse of the once proud and “working” city. Now, the machine disease has infected DC and it’s up to the states to take back the power. Folks in Virginia are feeling empowered again after Bob McDonnell’s win back of the governor’s machine. I would also support Romney for President in 2012. PS check out “backyardconservative” a blog from my old neighborhood in IL–where the neighborhood changed from 75% Republican in 1980 to about 20% Republican in 2009. It’s lonely in the backyard too.

The only nice thing he said about Kennedy was that he did a good job with constituent services. Can’t really hold that against him. Nothing complimentary about policy issues.

I hope the people of Massachusetts also send that message to obama, it’s been a long time coming.

  11. [...] “It’s not Ted Kennedy’s seat” By Tao Te Ching Rubriksättaren på SvD skrev att Brown tog Ted Kennedys plats i senaten. Detta aktualiserar en av framgångarna som Brown hade i valrörelsen. I en debatt frågade, jag gissar debattledaren, Brown ungefär “Kan du fylla Ted Kennedys plats?” Brown svarade effektivt, “It’s not Ted Kennedy’s seat. It’s the people’s seat”. Se detta via denna blog. [...]
