Um, no, I’m still not reassured

President Obama’s statement today about the undiebomber was underwhelming. Is it a good thing that he’s promising to start paying attention to national security? Sure, but what was he doing before? Oh yeah, I forgot, he’s been busy with other things. (Feel free to note what he’s been busy with in the comments below.

The White House issued a report about the failure of the administration to stop the undiebomber from boarding a US bound airplane. Something about a typo when entering his name into the system so they didn’t know he had a US visa.

Michelle Malkin wonders why the State Department is so lax in issuing visas. She’ll be following up with more information in the next day or so.

All in all, I’m still not reassured.

I watched his statements fresh off his Hawaiian vacation and It’s amazing when there’s a screw up how many times the words “I”, “me”, “myself” are not used by this man. I did take note on how many times the words “ours”, “the”, “you”, were used. I’m wondering if there’s some kind of pattern. Now that Christmas is over and just returning, the Obamas have probably been busy supervising the taking down and packing away for next year some of the precious Chairman Mao and transvestite ornaments. We have to keep our priorities straight now; don’t we?
