This is funny. There are liberals, and then there are liberals who at least have a sense of humor and recognize when their “allies” are buffoons.
Happy Friday!

Ha ha…..I distincly remember a very humorless, thin-skinned and huskier blogger (who wilL Go unidentiFied for now) posting videos of John Stewart goofing on Glen Beck all the time, but then one of the regular commentors at that place posted a pretty funny clip of right after the ACORN undercover videos w/Stewart shouting out:
“Note to the major networks- YOU GOT SCOOPED BY THE KIDS FROM ‘HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL’”
Said husky and thin-skinned blogger just sniffed at that poster ‘So NOW you think John Stewart is funny?’
Guess he’s only funny when riffing on conservatives…

John mentions in his skit, “3 major news networks”. I wonder which 3? He makes Matthews look unaware, stupid and clumsy; but if it were a conservative or God forbid a commentator on FOX News, the direction and tone taken would have been calling for dismissals or resignations and boycotts; remember Don Imus’ “nappy headed hos”; or Limbaugh over his comments on the media and a black quarterback, and the M.J. Fox fiasco? No, if this were anyone other than a liberal speaking his mind, the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, NAACP, The Congressional Black Caucus and the 3 major news networks John mentions would have descended and splashed this 24/7 in a loop. I’m glad Chris spoke what he thought, I hope he keeps it up, but phony double standards are being exposed “Daily”. This is simply liberals embarrassed by liberalism covering with humor. Pathetic and transparent.

Chris Matthews clarifying the clarification: I really blew it on the whole “I forgot he was black” thing, but hey…that Michelle…can’t forget she’s not black — baby got back! — sorry, I meant large protruding buttocks? no, no…a phat ass! — that’s it right?
MSNBC producers: *mortified w/huge sighs* — whatever Chris, we’re all post-racial now…
Historically, the yardstick for whether minorities are indeed being judged by the “content of their character” and not skin color, is held by the victims of racial hatred…not the alleged perpetrators, but ALL dialogue should ALWAYS be welcomed. The best way to deal w/ignorance is by exposing it to the light of day…so hearing Chris ruminate (however clumsily) is not a bad thing, and does represent major progress. Each persons thought process/background is different, and perhaps it’s not the best thing for a so-called journalist to ruminate on-air. Chris is one of O-Mans most ardent supporters (embarrassingly so) and it’s doubtful he meant anything malacious by his insensitive comments…which suggest he has no use for blacks who do not speak so-called “American Standard English”,possess dark skin or have positions of high political influence.
