2 Responses to Video: Psychoanalysis of Barack Obama
Look no further than Barak Obama, Sr. The man was a Marxist ideologue who couldn’t adapt and cooperate with other Kenyans with a shared Marxist ideology. He was given a small amount of power in the Kenyan government as an economist, but it was taken away from him after Mboya’s assasination.
Obama Sr. never recovered. He went into a tailspin:
Wikipedia:
As his son described it in his memoir, Obama Sr.’s conflict with President Kenyatta destroyed his career. (Dreams from my Father, pp. 214–216.) The decline began after Tom Mboya’s assassination in 1969. Obama Sr. was fired from his job by Jomo Kenyatta, was blacklisted in Kenya, and began to drink.
Washington Post:
He returned to Kenya and became a close aide to Mboya, a fellow Luo tribesman, at the Ministry of Economic Development. According to his old “drinking buddy” Ochieng, he antagonized other officials with his “boasting,” was “excessively fond of Scotch” and ended up in poverty “without a job.” He got into frequent car accidents, one of which led to the amputation of both his legs. He was killed in another car accident, in 1982, at the age of 46.
Ultimately, only time will tell how Obama reacts to adversity. But the early evidence suggests he shares the stubborness of his father. I don’t foresee him compromising or adapting his agenda to fit the political landscape. This will get ugly.
Barack Obama may be a charismatic leader but somehow his economic policies are not that great in my own opinion. But still i am thankful that a Obama is the current president of the unitied states.
