Scott Brown has run a pretty positive campaign, with the exception of responding to the ugly attacks by his opponent, Martha Coakley. He doesn’t need to go negative. Check out the crowd that showed up to hear him speak in Middleboro, Mass. Also, look at their faces – people really like this guy.
The Other McCain was amazed at the size of the crowd – he posted these videos at Hot Air’s Green Room.
Compare Scott Brown to Martha Coakley – who again went on the attack, accusing Brown of leaving his campaign staff without health insurance. Brown responded that most of his campaign staff already have health insurance, and those who don’t were compensated accordingly. But what’s even funnier are the two photos. Brown is surrounded by a crowd of supporters. Coakley, on the other hand, is at a campaign event attended by 200 union workers. They were probably paid to be there. Look at that guy leaning away from her – as if he’s repulsed and can’t wait to get the heck outta there. Those poor guys look embarrassed to be there.

Update: I initially wrote that the Scott Brown rally was in Fitchburg, based on the report filed by RS McCain. But the rally was in Middleboro. I’ve made the correction. Sorry about that.
The Other McCain linked – thank you! Glad you’re up and running again.
Common Cents linked – thank you!
