Democrats in Massachesetts must think the electorate is so brain dead they can slap a “D” next to anyone’s name and call it a day.
Martha Coakley is running to replace Ted Kennedy in the US Senate.
The Worcester Business Journal hasn’t been able to schedule an interview with Coakley.
We understand when politicians are busy. We deal with it all the time. After all, talking to journalists can be tedious and repetitive, especially when you’re running for office.
That’s why we wanted to give Attorney General Martha Coakley the benefit of the doubt when her campaign staff was initially stand offish after we approached them about setting up an interview for our story on the race to fill Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat.
But then we were put off several times by her staff. We suddenly got the feeling Ms. Coakley, a Democrat, didn’t want to speak with us, and the media in general. …
Maybe when she returns from vacation she’ll take the time to answer reporters’ questions.
In the mean time, Republican Scott Brown has been travelling around the state talking to voters and the press.
John McCain released a video endorsing Scott Brown.

Scott Brown is a good conservative candidate. Massachusetts needs to get back to its political roots. I am not talking kennedy, I am talking Adams. With the election of Scott Brown, we can take away their 60th vote in the Senate and keep the Tea party ball rolling. We already took Virginia and New Jersey, wouldn’t Massachusetts just tick off the liberals even more.
The Dems kept this seat by changing the law that kennedy helped create, then reverse; Karma says we need to take it back.

What Tea Part ball? Scott Brown isn’t the Tea Party candidate. He’s tried to keep the Tea Party candidate out of debates. Joe Kennedy is the real Tea Party candidate, not a career politician who supports Romneycare like Scott Brown.
