The joke's on you, America

Folks, you just have to laugh. I know, the statists are in charge and they’re trying their damnedest to fundamentally transform our republic, ie: ruin it. But come on, if you were them, would you advise the people of your true intentions? Of course not! That’s why it’s so funny to witness the media’s puzzlement over the lack of transparency. Did they really believe the promises made by Obama?

Thank God there are a few in the media who aren’t so gullible. Byron York is one of them, and he provided the transcript of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs’s ridiculous exchange with reporters regarding the C-Span letter. Follow the link and read the whole thing if you’re in need of a little comic relief. In short:

And that was the end of that. If the public wants to know why President Obama didn’t keep his pledge to hold televised health-care negotiations, they’ll have to look for answers elsewhere. The White House isn’t talking.
