If nationalized health care is so great, why is a Canadian official coming to the US for heart surgery?
CBC News: Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams is set to undergo heart surgery this week in the United States.
CBC News confirmed Monday that Williams, 60, left the province earlier in the day and will have surgery later in the week.
The premier’s office provided few details, beyond confirming that he would have heart surgery and saying that it was not necessarily a routine procedure.

It must be because the doctor is a relative, or something. Couldn’t be because he can’t get timely treatment in Canada.
Just ask the liberals, or the Canadians who think socialized medicine is the greatest thing going.

It’s stunning how people choose where to have such sub standard health care preformed. I would think he would have made Cuba his first choice after his own country but I guess that they are swamped and over capacity now and can’t get in. He probably had to settle for treatment at that house of quackery over by Rochester, Minnesota. I think its called mayonnaise or just Mayo for short, or something like that. Poor guy, I hope it turns out well for him. Sheesh, come to think of it, I wonder what’s happening that he didn’t choose Canada where he lives. What’s up with that? It is good that he had a choice though, but he must be one of those rich politicians that are “excluded” from the normal plan for the rest of the people in Canada. Who knows?

Well, sheesh! Didn’t the mainstream media inform this poor guy that the U.S. has one of the worst records on healthcare of the developed nations? Or………maybe….could the mainstream media be…..oh…I don’t know….LYING???
I think he should stay in Canada….after all, according to the mainstream media, their care is SO MUCH BETTER THAN OURS!
