First Class Boob Pelosi: A Bill Can Be Bipartisan Without Bipartisan Votes

By

They’ll ram this crap sandwich through on a party-line vote and call it bipartisan.

The Hill: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Sunday that Republicans have left their mark on the healthcare bill and should accept that the bill will go forward.

“They’ve had plenty of opportunity to make their voices heard,” she said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday morning. “Bipartisanship is a two-way street. A bill can be bipartisan without bipartisan votes. Republicans have left their imprint.”

Nancy Pelosi is a first class boob.

Speaking of first class boobs, Newsbusters provides a rundown of Elizabeth Vargas’s biased questioning in ABC’s This Week. Vargas went fairly easy on Pelosi while slamming Republican Senator Lamar Alexander. She even agreed with Sam Donaldson that Obama should get “ruthless” to shove this health care monstrosity down our throats.

The full transcript of the ABC interview can be found here, and you can find reaction to it here.

I think this proves that the healthcare summit was simply a mechanism to make it very public that the Republicans have been included in the debate. Frankly, I think it was a brilliant strategy by the Democrats. The Democrats know the 2010 election will be a bloodbath with or without healthcare. They are basically making the decision to save the base, seeing that they already lost the independents. starvethemachine.net
