How does giving iPods away create jobs?
Bay News 9: The school district is using the device to reward parents of children with disabilities who fill out a 10-minute online survey. The district wants to know how well it’s connecting with the parents and how to get parents involved in their children’s education.
The district is spending about $350,000 in federal stimulus money for the iPods.
Not only is this a horrible waste of taxpayer funds, what does it say when a school district has to give away goodies to get parents involved in their children’s schooling?
Update: Obama Fail linked and has more information about stimulus funds being used for iPods. And the district mentioned above has decided to put their little plan on hold.

Why not?
To create yet another gov’t job whould have the same effect….maybe worse since the ipods are a one time expenditure…..gov’t workers go on and on and on.
What? Hire a private company (read: non union) to do some infrastructure work.
Can’t do it. Here’s why:
1. Makes too much common sense
2. Doesn’t grow gov’t
3. Doesn’t give more money to unions.
Don’t all gov’t job require the workers be union?……Never mind.
