More great news in the age of Obama.
At least they didn’t say it was unexpected.
Gallup: Gallup’s daily measure of U.S. employment reveals that 19.9% of the U.S. workforce was underemployed during the month of January, translating to close to 30 million Americans who are working less than their desired capacity. Those who were underemployed reported spending 36% less than those who were employed, $48 per day versus $75 per day.
2010 can’t come soon enough. Heck, 2012 can’t come soon enough.
Update: The economic news isn’t getting any rosier today.
Consumer confidence has dropped to its lowest level since 1983.
Mass layoffs are on the rise.
There’s been a 27% jump in problem banks.
But not all news is bad. Wall Street bonuses are up 17%.
To the trolls, yes, Bush made some mistakes. But he sure had a lot of help after the Democrats took over Congress in 2007. Come to think of it, it was shortly after that when everything went south. Just in case you forgot.

YUP! It took the Bush administration 8 years to tank the economy. We ain’t gonna turn it around overnight!

My my….you seem to be moving away from the verbatim ‘failed policies of the last 8 years’ talking point, which is a shame, because as lame and cliched as it is, you’d at least be acknowledging that 0bama’s policies in his first year are a complete failure.
At the rate 0bama’s going, WE ain’t gonna turn it around ever.
/the jounrey of a thousand miles realiing 0bama is not the Messiah begins with a single step, grasshopper.

Dear jmmx,
Please go back to the rock you crawled out from under.
Blaming Bush doesn’t work here.
We DO recognize Bush’s faults….however, the current spending debacle belongs to OBAMA.

Ain’t gonna turn it around overnight or over a century with Obama at the helm, imposing progressive, statist policies. But hey, just look how bad it could have been; yeah right.
