Happy Birthday, President Reagan
ByA reader asked that I post this short tribute to President Ronald Reagan. I’m happy to oblige. I miss him now more than ever.

Ronald Wilson Reagan would have been 99 years old today.
He was the last president in my time so far to clearly recognize individual liberty and how precious it is.
From the day he took office he brought back respect and vision to our country.
He was a defender of freedom for all people globally and was unapologetically stubborn in his actions to defend the individual.
His Presidency and loyalty was not appreciated until contrasted and compared over time to contemporaries and I would think that he would have been very sad to have been looked upon by a brief history as being correct in his prophetic warnings of collectivism.
Ronald Reagan understood and believed in the American experiment, how it empowered individuals and in my opinion will be historically compared with principles, ideology, and honor of the Founders.
I am a truly lucky and proud person to be an American and been alive in the same time line as Ronald Reagan.
Happy Birthday President Reagan.

It is times like these when Mr. Reagan’s absence from the White House is so plainly demonstrated.
Who will come forth to take his place?
