One year ago today the $787 billion Porkulus Act was signed into law. The unemployment rate was 7.6%. We were promised that putting our children into even more debt would keep unemployment from going higher than 8%. Today unemployment is at about 10% (officially, unofficially it’s much higher) and the real cost of Porkulus is closer to $900 billion, plus interest. But that didn’t stop Obama from standing at the podium taking credit for saving the economy. This is the same guy who just signed off on raising the debt ceiling to a whopping $14 trillion.

While we’re recalling where we were one year ago, remember which party controlled Congress since 2007. Obama was part of that Congress. So the mess he “inherited” was a mess he helped create. And now he’s making things worse.
Rep. Eric Cantor put together a little Porkulus time line for your reference. Read it while listening to this yahoo spew his lies.

Wow, what a difference a year makes! Unemployment, taxes, the deficit, East Coast snow levels, terrorist attacks, infrastructure deterioration, all have gone up. This has obviously worked so well, I’ll bet they’ll go for another one.

I was in title industry and I got laid off for the second time in 2 years recently. This is why I don’t buy into hype. And it was well said in the article, he was still in congress when this mess was being created and then when he got elected, he claimed he inherited it.

The photo accompanying this part of your blog shows a common pose of Obama raising his head up in the air. We all call it arrogance, and I think it is. But the old phrase “leading with your chin” came to me, so I looked it up:
“lead with one’s chin
Take a risk, behave without caution. For example, Gordon always says exactly what he thinks; he never minds leading with his chin. This term alludes to a boxer leaving his chin, a vulnerable point, unprotected. [Mid-1900s]

Maybe leading with his chin is a worse omen than arrogance!
