Oh great, Harry Reid’s cool with a reconciliation vote on the public option. Surprise, surprise!
In another surprising step forward for the public option, Senator Harry Reid’s office says that if a final decision is made to pass health reform via reconciliation, the Majority Leader would support holding a reconciliation vote on the public option.
With more and more Senators signing on to the letter urging Reid to hold an up or down vote on the public option under reconciliation rules, Reid spokesman Rodell Mollineau sends over a statement signaling Reid’s qualified support for the move: ….
They’ll stop at nothing to ram this down our throats.

Until they are numerically defeated, they will try anything, and I mean anything to get control of the American populous. The progressives are relentless in their time of being. When defeated they will retreat into a stasis for a few decades. The reclamation of the education of our young is the key during their absence.

Is this surprising? The Rassmussen poll shows that 61 percent of the voters think the government does not listen to them and does not have their consent.
Harry Reid and the Democrats are willing to prove him true.
I have come to the conclusion that the public option and health care is SO important to the democrats that they are all willing to lose their seats in November to get it passed.
Which does not bode well for Cap and Tax and Illegal immigration in the near future.
Look for the Democrats to pass both of those thru the same manuevering deals.

Michigan and Doomed are spot-on. These people don’t care about losing seats–this is so critically important to the Left that they are willing to risk everything to get these things in place. They are blatantly ignoring their constituents’ wishes–and it is their constituency they work for, NOT the president and NOT the party.
Michigan’s comment about reclaiming the education system in this country is exactly the place to start. “Progressives” figured out decades ago that controlling education meant controlling the nation. Constitutionalists (I like that better than “conservatives”) need to focus hard and fast on young people who are in the midst of brainwashing, get them to think for themselves, be much more critical in forming their opinions.

Were you upset when the Republicans used budget reconciliation to push through the Bush tax cuts for the rich.
