Bloomberg: The U.S. may lose 824,000 jobs when the government releases its annual revision to employment data on Feb. 5, showing the labor market was in worse shape during the recession than known at the time.

Speaking of manipulating data, if you think Obama’s budget is hideous now, wait until you read this. It doesn’t include the federal funds used to keep Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac afloat. That would be $6.3 trillion in liabilities! No wonder Obama wants lawmakers to stop watching the news and reading blogs.

    That’s OK, all the White House has to do is boost its estimate of jobs created by the stimulus by 824,000, and we’ll be even!
