I’m Rethinking My Support of the Mount Vernon Statement
ByAt first blush it sounded like a good way to unite conservatives.
After reading this, I’m having second thoughts.
At the time, I mentioned that, even if I agreed that the Mount Vernon Statement was necessary or useful, I could not in good conscience sign it because Grover Norquist had signed it and Mr. Norquist was and is a useful idiot for the Jihadists.
It seems I am not alone in thinking this way. I did not notice until today that on 18 February Michelle Malkin published a blog entry wherein she asked some uncomfortable questions of those who had signed the Statement.
Read the whole thing and make up your own mind.

So…..an entire document is ruined because one person signed the document that we disagree with on one issue…GIVE ME A BREAK.
