There are, yes, some people in this country who really don't have what they need through no fault of their own. And Americans have always been willing to give those people a hand up. In this case, when a woman makes a different choice because she is basically flipping a coin, gambling on creating a successful business instead of paying for health insurance....well, first of all it's her life and her choice to do that. Secondly, it is not true that you just can't go get a mammogram. We are barraged, everywhere, with "free mammogram" messages. The free stuff is already out there. Free health care services for all those "children without insurance", too. My brother is one of those suckling at the public teat his entire life and his FIVE children that he can't properly care for have always gotten free health care at a public clinic here in Las Vegas. It's time for "our side" to start running tv ads with people who have had a great experience with health care in this country but, yes, had to pay for what they consumed and are actually OKAY with the notion of doing that! I just had that experience; bills will come in and I will spend my tax refund on those instead of the things I hoped to spend it on. And I am GRATEFUL---I had talented health care professionals caring for me and my problem was whipped in a week. I don't mind paying them for that job. They'll get thank-you cards and a bottle of wine, too. Team Obama lies -- time to pour on the truth from the other perspective.
